Current Series
These recent works reflect an ongoing conversation with the natural world, shaped by the landscapes where each painting begins.
I paint from within a world that is already changing.
The landscape is never standing still—and neither are we. I move through wild places, cultures, and cities with an urgency to notice life while it is unfolding: standing in the sea, gathering red earth, sharing chai, following light, and allowing each encounter to leave its mark. These experiences are not documented but translated through expressive abstraction.
My process begins in the landscape, where the environment becomes an active collaborator. I work directly with the elements, using water, earth, and tools fashioned from what each place offers. Back in my Scottsdale studio, those traces evolve through layers of pigment, gesture, and time.
Rather than preserving a moment, my paintings invite viewers to step into the wonder of a world in constant motion—and to experience the quiet urgency of being fully present within it.
